Hello and Welcome.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Massage Therapist in NE Portland, Oregon. I offer individual counseling, relationship counseling, and therapeutic massage/bodywork grounded in more than 25 years of study and practice in embodiment, mindfulness, relationship, and change.

My path started in 1997, studying yoga and meditation both in the States and abroad in India. From there, I embarked on professional training in Anusara Yoga, Stott Pilates, Massage, Women’s Health (Maya Abdominal Massage & Doula Training), Authentic Relating, Conflict Resolution, and Somatic Psychology. My background includes more than 10 years of experience teaching, facilitating groups, assisting professional trainings, and offering mediation and consultation. I have a boundless appetite for learning and teaching, and I especially enjoy the discovery that is available right here, in the present moment, and in relationship, which is a big reason why I have chosen this counseling and bodywork path.

As a therapist, I work experientially and relationally, supporting clients in slowing down, deepening into their internal world, and better understanding the patterns that shape their lives, relationships, and sense of self. As a bodyworker, I draw from decades of experience with therapeutic touch, movement, abdominal massage, Thai massage, and indigenous and intuitive healing modalities. My work is both anatomically and scientifically informed, while also attending to the subtle, energetic, and intuitive dimensions of the body.

While my work is guided by professional training, it is also informed by my long-term commitment to growth, relationship, and the ongoing practice of becoming more fully human. I strive to offer a space that is warm, grounded, and respectful of each person’s life experience, complexity, history, culture, beliefs, identity, and pace. I see turning inward toward self-healing not as an escape from the world, but as a courageous act of reconnection in a culture that often encourages disconnection, urgency, and self-abandonment. On my time off, I enjoy movement and dance, spacious sunny days in my yard with my cats, and the occasional adventure to beautiful nature locations.

I use she/her pronouns.
